Hi, I'm Martha.

My husband and I first met in high school, but it wasn't until college that our friendship grew into something more. We began dating during those years, and after graduating, we were married in 2017. Together, we have built a life centered on faith, family, and serving others. We welcomed our son in 2022 and our daughter in 2024, two incredible gifts who helped shape the path that led me to birth work.

Before becoming a doula, I was an elementary school teacher. I loved investing in children and supporting families, but after my son was born, I felt called to step away from the classroom and focus on my growing family. During that season of motherhood, God began stirring a new passion in my heart.

After my first baby was born, I became fascinated by pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a deep love for learning about the incredible design of pregnancy and childbirth. I found myself reading books, listening to birth stories, taking classes, and soaking up every bit of knowledge I could find. The more I learned, the more I felt drawn to supporting other women as they prepared to welcome their own babies.

My own birth experiences were empowering, peaceful, and deeply meaningful. While every birth comes with its own challenges and unknowns, I felt confident because I was surrounded by a strong support team. Those experiences showed me how valuable it is for mothers to feel informed, encouraged, and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

After the birth of my daughter, I knew it was time to pursue this calling and serve families in a more intentional way. Today, I am a DONA-trained birth doula who is passionate about walking alongside parents as they navigate one of life's most transformative seasons.

My faith is the foundation of who I am and how I serve. I believe every mother, baby, and birth story is uniquely created by God, and I strive to support families with compassion, calmness, grace, and respect. Whether your faith is an important part of your birth journey or not, my goal is always to provide a peaceful, supportive presence and evidence-based information so you can make decisions with confidence.

As a bilingual doula, I proudly serve both English and Spanish-speaking families. I provide doula services in the Denver Metro area during the spring and summer months and in the Kansas City area during the fall and winter.

Birth is more than the day your baby arrives, it is the beginning of a new chapter for your entire family. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you prepare to welcome your little one and embrace the journey ahead.
