About Girasol Birth Services

My name is Martha. I am a bilingual doula (Spanish and English).

My husband and I met in high school and got married in 2017. We welcomed our son in 2022 and our daughter in 2024. I am a former elementary school teacher, I stepped away from my teaching career when I had my son. My doula journey began after my first baby when I fell in love with learning everything about pregnancy and birth. It was so fascinating to me and I kept diving deeper and deeper. After I had my second I knew I wanted to work with families on their journeys in their own pregnancies and births. With both my births I felt empowered and at peace and that was all due to my support team. I believe that my calm, confident demeanor combined with my DONA birth doula training makes me a valuable addition to your birth team. I provide doula services in the Denver Metro area as well as the Kansas City area.
